NO SMOKING, NO PETS, No fireworks or firearms allowed
Maximum Occupancy is 10 over age 5
(special approval required to exceed this number). Check-in time
4:00 PM/Check-out time is 11:00 AM (eastern). The fireplace is
closed between May 1st and September 30th. Do not remove ashes
from the fireplace due to a potential fire hazard. We will not
rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age.
No un-chaperoned groups. Telephone has block outs for
direct long distance calls. Bring your calling card, credit card
or cell phone.
Maintenance Emergency Number
- You will find the after hours emergency number posted in the
chalet. THIS NUMBER IS FOR MAINTENANCE EMERGENCIES ONLY.
Examples of emergencies are: no heat, no water, broken pipes,
etc. To report maintenance issues such as, problems with cable
TV, hot tub, non-emergency plumbing problems, etc. please call
(205) 663-3697 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Please
leave a message if we are not in. We check messages frequently.
Maintenance personnel will call you to schedule a visit that
won't interfere with your plans.
Hot Tub and Cover
- Hot tub will be inspected after each rental. If any items such
as food, alcohol, soaps or bath products, etc. are found in the
hot tub, you will be charged an excessive cleaning fee of $150.
Damage to cover will result in a $350 charge. Covers should
remain on the hot tub at all times when not in use. Children
under the age of 16, pregnant women and persons with heart
conditions or skin sensitivities should not use the hot tub.
Rates and Deposits -
A $400 deposit is due at the time of booking to hold
reservation. Reservations will be held for 10 days pending
receipt of payment and signed rental agreement. If these are
not received within 10 days of booking, your reservation will be
cancelled. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Payment
for reservations made less than 30 days from arrival date will
be due in full at time of booking. A $300 damage deposit fee is
also due 30 days prior to arrival for any reservation not using
a credit card. For those using a credit card, you understand
that your credit card will be charged after your departure for
any damages found. Violation of either the NO PETS or NO
SMOKING Policy will result in forfeiture of the damage deposit.
Any damage other than normal wear will be deducted from the
damage deposit or charged to your credit card. Your deposit
will be returned to you within 15 days after checkout as long as
there is no damage or theft to the chalet during your stay.
Departure procedures will be
posted in the chalet. Failure to follow these will result in a
$75 excessive cleaning fee. For stays less than 6 nights a $75
cleaning fee will be added. A 12.5% tax will be added to the
rental rates.
Rates and terms are
subject to change without notice. All rates are in US Dollars
(US).
Cancellations and Refunds
- If you cancel at least 30 days prior to arrival date, you may
receive a full refund less a $100 cancellation fee. If you
cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival date, no refund unless
we re-rent the property. A $100 cancellation fee is still
required if we re-rent the property.
For Holiday periods (July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New
Year's), the deadline for cancellation is 60 days prior to
arrival.
We strongly encourage you
to consider travel insurance in case of unforeseen emergencies
such as sickness. You can find this insurance at
http://www.insuremytrip.com or other similar travel
insurance sites.
No refunds for severe weather
conditions. During times of inclement weather you may want to
consider a 4 wheel drive vehicle or chains. No refunds for early
departures or unforeseen mechanical failures.
Credit Card Authorization
– You
understand and consent to the use of the credit card
provided, without original signature on the charge slip.
You understand that by "clicking" that you have read the
terms and conditions of this property, you are bound by this
agreement and you have signed electronically, and that this
Credit Card Authorization cannot be revoked and will not
terminate until 90 days after leased premises are vacated.
Charges may include: damages beyond normal wear and tear;
damage to hot tub or cover; maintenance issues caused by
guest; excessive cleaning fee.
